Designed by Diné artist Lenadra Yazzie with messages of harmony, renewal, and balance in mind, this blanket's design brings awareness to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples Movement. The pattern features songbirds rising from Mother Earth greeting the healing rays of Morning Sun against the blue of Father Sky. The turquoise band symbolizes Life and the red bands represent missing Native relatives who will never be forgotten. A portion of the proceeds from The Healing Blanket will go to the NIWRC: National Indigenous Women's Resource Center.
