Glacier National Park is an International Dark Sky Park with a rating of 2 on the Bortle Scale. If you're not familiar with the Bortle Sky Scale, it's a nine-level numeric scale measuring the night sky's brightness of a particular location to quantify the astronomical observability of celestial objects and the night sky. In simpler terms, it's a rating system that ranks the night sky based on how much light pollution is in the sky and how visible the stars are, the lower the number, the darker the sky.
