Black bears are also amazing swimmers and climbers, cubs can be very adventurous and love climbing high into the treetops. Glacier is home to nearly 1000 black bears, an exciting site to see but make sure to give bears at least 100 yards of space and familiarize yourself with basic bear safety before venturing out into the wilderness.
