Baited is a gripping mystery set in Glacier National Park's Cut Bank Valley during the summer of 2004. When a park employee vanishes and a grizzly bear DNA study is sabotaged, ranger Mack Savage and his coworker Clancy Dyer find themselves entangled in a web of suspicious deaths, conflicting loyalties, and moral dilemmas. Against the backdrop of Glacier's stunning wilderness, the novel explores grief, the complex relationship between the park and the Blackfeet Reservation, and the painful question of how to love someone who has done something unforgivable.
