Known as expert horsemen, this design is based on the Blackfeet tribe and celebrates the animal they call "elk-horse" because of its great size. Depicted on the blanket is a brave warrior thundering across the plains on a horse and is similar to imagery found on buffalo hides in the 1800s. This blanket is part of the Legendary Collection and it honors stories and symbols of Native American culture.
