As part of the Native America Speaks program, the long-standing tradition of the Blackfeet Singers and Dancers sharing their culture with visitors of Glacier National Park continues to provide a unique experience. The Native America Speaks program is the longest running Indigenous people's speakers series in the National Park Service system. This inspiring program started in 1982 and provides a connection between visitors to the park and Glacier National Park's first people.
The Conservancy has devoted our efforts to building lasting relationships and preserving the traditions, language, and land of the Blackfeet, Salish, Pend d'Oreille and Kootenai peoples to ensure the sacred connections to Glacier National Park are honored.
